Hyo-Jun Ahn received the B.S degree from Yonsei University in 1985 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from KAIST in Korea. He worked for Korean Electric Power Corporation from 1991 to 1993. And then he joined as a faculty of Gyeongsang National University. He is currently a professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Gyeongsang National University and also a director of WCU center for next generation battery. His research has been focused on the next generation batteries such as lithium/sulfur battery, room temperature sodium/sulfur battery, flexible battery and implantable medical battery. Especially, he has been working on sulfur batteries from 1996. He has published more than 62 papers in refereed journals last 5 years and holds over 44 patents.
